Technical Difficulties Abound

9/27/07 Update - I found an export file from back in July so not quite all is lost - just most of July, August and September.

9/24/07 Update - The old files are lost so I am starting over - I am going to view this as an opportunity to focus on dragonflies & dragons from a new viewpoint instead of as lost writings. Sometimes, starting out afresh is a good thing so I am going to look for info on the lovely dragonfly first since one was hovering over and all around my car in the parking lot at work today. Generally, when dragonflies make their presence insistently known to me - it generally means I should pay attention.

Before I moved, I captured a glorious dragonfly perched on a plastic dragonfly outside in the front yard. This is the very first dragonfly photograph I’ve ever taken where you could see the dragonfly. The plastic dragonfly is next to a sago palm tree I planted out in that yard - it is still a tiny baby tree. But those three plastic dragonflies surrounding the sago palm tree tend to attract dragonflies like bees to honey for some reason. Since I took this picture, I have seen a variety of dragonflies out there - no pictures … I tried but none of them turned out - the dragonflies were all moving too much so the dragonfly was blurred & fuzzy though the tree & plastic dragonflies were crystal clear & sharp.
