Today’s featured art is Please don’t pet the dragonfly by Sandra Idleman

I love this whimsical dragonfly and the notice not to pet it too! The reddish-orange and bright orchid pink purple are not exactly the colors I would expect together but works REALLY well together.

The gold in the tiny frame width echoes the gold in the dragonfly and is a great choice for framing of this piece.

This delightful humorous dragonfly would be perfect anywhere but I think a zoo wall or hallway or office in particular would be really marvelous.

Today’s featured art is Red Dragon(fly) by Bob Travis

This is a great photograph of a red dragonfly. I know from experience that taking photos of a dragonfly can be VERY difficult.

This dragonfly appears to be on an airfield getting ready to taxi down the runway and fly off to exotic places. That was my exact first thought upon seeing this pose.
